How small are the groups?

Maximum 8 guests per tour. Private tours for 1–4 are also available on request.

Can I book last-minute?

Most tours can be booked up to 24 hours in advance, subject to guide availability.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time.

Are tours conducted in English?

Yes — all ShaGlobalTours guides are fluent English speakers. Japanese commentary is available on request.

Do I need to be physically fit?

Most tours involve 2–4 km of walking on uneven temple paths. We recommend comfortable shoes. Accessibility versions are available.

Is food/drink included?

Most tours include a tasting element (tea, wagashi sweets, or market snacks). Full meals are not included unless specified.
